The business of affiliate marketing is taking hold as one of the best ways to make money online. There are tons of reasons why it's becoming so popular, but mostly because it enables people to work from home for some extra cash or even a full time income if they dedicate enough time to it. Even though there are a lot of people out there talking about how difficult it can be, it doesn't have to be if you know where to start! Let me introduce you into the world of affiliate marketing and show you that it can be simple and maybe even a bit fun if you're into that sort of computer nerdy type thing. The term of affiliate marketing is so surprisingly simple even though it may seem a little complicated at first. Broken down to its core, all it really is, is the act of selling another company's products for some type of commission, almost always cash. Not too shabby, eh? This is where everyone brings up the question of, "How do I sell this stuff dude?" Getting all antsy I see, but we need to answer an even more important question first; what interests you so much that you're just dying to try and sell it on the internet? Or better yet, how do we find things to sell? The easiest part is finding an affiliate program to join, since there are so many out there. Ebay? Yep. Amazon? Of course. Larry's Lifesize Ant Farms? For sure. Assignment number one: open up a new tab or window and look up your favorite retail website. Odds are pretty good that they are going to have an affiliate program. This is where they are going to list their terms and conditions for the program, and give you the commission rates which are super important. Some programs are better than others so do plenty of searching before you decide on anything for sure. We now have a product to promote, voila! This is the best part, we now have to get inside people's heads on why they should really buy this product. What we're going to do is write an article explaining why everyone should buy this. If you really take your time and write an amazing article, it will make your income that much better with this project. What happens now is that you need to go to Google and type in "article directory". These are where people submit articles on most every topic, which you should also do now. The more you submit your article to, the more money you can potentially make. Seriously, the more you submit to the better! Each directory should have a resource box for each article you submit, always remember to add your affiliate link in here. Was this so hard?Nope!You just did what we call article marketing, a very popular technique that once you have down to a science can yield great results. It was my goal here to show you a simple way of getting into affiliate marketing, hopefully a few of you will take this even further and explore other methods as well.
