A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to meet this fantastic woman named Aunt Melba who enlightened me on her take of all these opportunities to make money online. Though she had never done it herself she still had knowledge to share that applied to making money anywhere-whether it be online or off. Before calling it quits in '01 she was regarded as one of the premier minds in the marketing and advertising community. She spent her career developing award winning campaigns for products like car care packages and bran muffins. She sees what people are doing now to make money online as what she used to do with the help of T.V. and radio. Since accessibility to online money making is so easy for the average person there have been others who have tried to exploit that. Aunt Melba feels that people are being given false hope and not real ways to succeed in the online arena. All these claims of how to make money online fast and easy causes Aunt Melba to sigh and shake her head because that was the perception of her job when she worked. It can't be that fast and easy to make money online if the whole world isn't pursuing it. She said that that practice was insane and I had just answered my own question. Repeated actions with no results are a habit that one should eliminate quickly-not just in running an online business but in life too. Aunt Melba said that 3 things will help you become a winner at making money online or offline. These things are: Systems-Goals-Everyday Action For any online business opportunity or offline business situation you must have a system to follow. Kind of like an assembly line for making cars or bikes. What ever online money making opportunity should offer this way of doing things in a systematic and consistent way. Setting goals means having targeted things that you would like to accomplish within the next 30, 60, 90 days, etc Doing something each day to further your business is guaranteed to be advantageous. You have to treat this with the consistency of a brick and mortar business- show up everyday and do some work. Being lazy about your business is the fastest way to no longer have It doesn't matter if you're an old pro or a fresh fish you should be looking for a way to make money online that has sustainability. You have to have a "WHY" that drives your business. Why are you doing this and is the alternative to doing this helping or hurting you?
