This top 10 list has been compiled based on the number of searches done for the car brand in Houston. The number 1 car, Chevrolet Houston, received the most searches. The number 10 car, Cadillac Houston, received the least amount of votes. This article is about what cars people are searching for in Houston Texas. These are the top 10 searched for cars. In the list are Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, BMW, Dodge, Mercedes Benz, Lexus, and Cadillac. 1. Chevrolet Chevrolet Houston was the most searched for car in Houston. Almost 257,000 people searched for Chevrolet Houston last month. This puts Chevrolet squarely above its Japanese rivals: Toyota Houston and Honda Houston. 2. Ford Houston Ford Houston comes in second on the list, with just over 215,000 searches. Ford was the number 5 car in Los Angeles. With Chevrolet Houston and Ford Houston running in the number 1 and 2 spots on the Houston list, it's clear that if you want to be in the in-crowd you'll want to drive a domestic car. 3. Toyota Houston Toyota Houston trailed Ford Houston by some 45,000 searches. But the fact that it's still number 3 shows that Texans are becoming more interested in foreign automobiles. 4. Honda Houston There were just over 145,000 Internet searches for Honda Houston. This puts Honda in fourth place. 5. Nissan Compared to Los Angeles, Nissan Houston is up four spots, coming in fifth in searches. Nissan Houston was searched approximately 120,000 times. That's much better than it's showing in Nissan Los Angeles searches. 6. BMW BMW Houston arrives 6th on the list. Close to 110,000 people searched for BMW Houston. This is a strong showing for a luxury automobile in a city that values practicality. 7. Dodge Houston Dodge Los Angeles occupied the bottom spot on the Top 10 Los Angeles Car List. So Dodge Houston is up three spots with 92,000 searches. Dodge Houston is also the third U.S. automaker no the Houston list. There is one more American car on this list. (See number 10.) 8. Mercedes Benz Houston The second luxury car on the Top 10 List was searched for about 82,000 times. There are enough people with money in Houston to put Mercedes Benz Houston in the Top 10. 9. Lexus Houston Another luxury automobile in the top 10. Lexus Houston received 68,000 searches. People who search Lexus like luxury but not the high prices of BMW or Mercedes Benz. 10. Cadillac Cadillac Houston is a new comer to the top 10 list. It is an American-built luxury automobile: showing once again that Houston prefers domestic to foreign.
